Keep running because I love it!!

Keep working out, so that my body won't look like a T-rex (big legs, itty bitty arms)

Personal:

I live in beautiful Cache Valley.  I can't wait for spring, I have a need to get up on the canyon trails.  I like to mountain bike, run, go jeepin', and shoot guns.

Great race. For my first marathon I can't complain. I felt really good the day of the race.

7 minute miles down the length of the canyon was fast but I loved the feeling I was having running the first half knowing I was going faster than the goal time. We had some great conversations along the course. We found out that we were running with a world class runner in his time.

The canyon was beautiful and the downhills were exhilarating. I felt good because I gave it everything I had and didn't find myself at the finish thinking that I could have gone faster or harder. My training partner Cody was a great help for me and has a lot of heart. I know he was really hurting at the end but he pushed through it and somehow found the heart to pull away the last mile while I was slowly dying on my feet. I am very happy with the results, breaking our goal time by 7+ minutes. I have something to look forward to next year where I want to qualify for Boston then break 180 minutes.

I'LL BE BACK!
